Multifunctional nursing pillow with kapok filling and a Zappy the Squirrel design. Zappy’s ears make delightful cuddle-tags for the baby. The pretty ties can be wrapped around your waist to hold the nursing pillow in place, which allows for hands-free or one-hand nursing. Place the nursing pillow over your shoulders or hang it over the pram’s handlebars when you take baby for a walk – the ties can be secured so that the length matches your needs. The nursing pillow can also be used as a support for your growing body during pregnancy, and as a prop for your baby when practicing tummy time and learning how to sit. Kapok is a silky-soft natural fibre that contains a natural antibacterial bitter substance that makes it impossible for dust mites to live in. This makes kapok an ideal material for allergy sufferers. Kapok is also breathable and heat regulating. Kapok care instructions As the nursing pillow is filled with super-soft and natural kapok fibres, it is important that you follow these washing and drying instructions if it becomes necessary to wash and dry your product. Washing • Always wash the nursing pillow separately and only at 40°C to protect the kapok fibres. • Choose a short wash cycle and avoid extra washing or soaking, as this can damage the kapok fibres. • Choose a wash cycle with extra spin or run an extra spin (preferably 1200 revolutions) after washing to get as much water out as possible before drying. • Use a gentle detergent without bleach or enzymes. • Do not use fabric softener. Drying • After washing, the nursing pillow must be dried immediately. Be aware that it takes time to dry the kapok fibres properly. • Dry the Baby Bumper alone in the tumble dryer. • We recommend using wool dryer balls, as they help to reduce drying time and at the same time ensure that the fibres do not clump together. • Select a medium heat cycle and dry the Baby Bumper for approx. 30 minutes at a time, after which feel the product. • When the product is slightly damp, take it out of the tumble dryer and remove the last moisture by placing the product in a warm place, such as in a room with underfloor heating or over a drying rack.
